Control the hazards
Use correctly rated conductors, fuses or breakers, enclosures, disconnects and components. Protect batteries from short circuits, incorrect charging and unsuitable environments. Guard rotating shafts, belts, chains and flywheels.
Keep experiments isolated
Do not connect an experimental generator to household wiring or the utility grid without approved equipment and competent professional design. Test low-energy subsystems first and document ratings before scaling.
